If your current provider registered the number under their Business Account, migration needs their cooperation — which is why account ownership is worth checking before you sign with anyone.
Do I lose my message templates when I switch?
Templates live in your WhatsApp Business Account on Meta's side. If the account is yours, the templates come with it. If it is not, you will need to recreate and resubmit them.
