Pricing
BrookTel pricing — platform, SMS and WhatsApp priced separately
Three lines, never bundled: what you pay BrookTel for the platform, what you pay per SMS, and what Meta charges you for WhatsApp delivery. You can see each one independently, which is the only way to know whether you are being marked up.
Platform plans
Your plan covers access to the BrookTel platform — contacts, templates, campaigns, the WhatsApp inbox, automation, API keys and analytics. Message delivery is billed separately, as described below.
| Plan | Price / month | Contacts | Built for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free Launch | ₹0 | 500 | Evaluating the platform — 3 SMS + 3 WhatsApp templates, 3 WhatsApp campaigns a month |
| Starter | ₹299 | 5,000 | Small teams — 20 templates, SMS + WhatsApp campaigns, WhatsApp inbox |
| Pro | ₹999 | 25,000 | Growing teams — 3 users, 100 templates, full SMS + WhatsApp API, automation, segments, scheduling, 1 webhook, advanced analytics |
| Custom | Let's talk | Unlimited | High volume — 10 users, no caps on templates or automation, volume-based SMS rates, priority support |
SMS delivery cost
SMS is billed per message from a prepaid BrookTel wallet, on top of your plan. You top the wallet up, and each submitted message debits it — with a full ledger you can export.
The per-SMS rate depends on your monthly volume and traffic type. We do not publish a single flat rate, because a business sending 5,000 messages a month and one sending 5 million should not pay the same price. Tell us your expected volume and we will quote it.
WhatsApp delivery cost
WhatsApp message delivery is billed by Meta, directly to your own Meta Business account, at Meta's published rates. BrookTel adds no per-message markup and does not intermediate that billing.
This means two things worth being clear about. First, WhatsApp is not free — Meta charges for it, and you will see those charges on your Meta invoice. Second, you can verify exactly what you are paying for delivery, because it appears in a dashboard we do not control.
What is not charged extra
- Setup and onboarding — no one-time fee
- API access on plans that include it — no separate API licence
- The WhatsApp team inbox — included, not a per-seat add-on beyond your plan's user count
- Delivery reports, webhooks and analytics
- DLT guidance during header and template registration
Questions worth asking any provider
If you are comparing quotes, these five questions separate transparent pricing from bundled pricing. Ask them of us too.
- Is WhatsApp delivery billed by Meta to my account, or by you to me? If it is you, what is your margin per message?
- Do I own my WhatsApp Business Account and phone number, or is it registered under yours?
- What is the per-SMS rate at my actual volume, in writing, and what happens when volume changes?
- Is there a setup fee, an annual lock-in, or a minimum wallet top-up?
- If I leave, do I keep my number, my templates and my message history?
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free Launch is ₹0 a month and includes 500 contacts, 3 SMS templates, 3 WhatsApp templates and 3 WhatsApp campaigns a month. Message delivery is still billed — SMS from your prepaid wallet, WhatsApp by Meta — because those are real costs we are passing through, not marking up.
What does one SMS cost?
It depends on your monthly volume and traffic type. Rather than publish a headline rate that only applies to one volume band, we quote against your actual numbers. Email brooktelteam@gmail.com with your expected monthly volume.
Do you charge a markup on WhatsApp messages?
No. Meta bills WhatsApp delivery directly to your own Meta Business account at Meta's rates. BrookTel's revenue is the platform subscription.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Plans are monthly. You can move up or down as your volume changes, and any remaining prepaid SMS wallet balance stays yours.
Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
No. There is no one-time setup charge on any plan.
What happens if my SMS wallet runs out?
Sends stop rather than silently failing, and you are notified so you can top up. Your plan, contacts, templates and history are unaffected.
